    Hello,
Two days ago I've removed my injectors and sent it to test. The 3rd injector is faulty so I had to buy a new one but it is said that I have to code the injector for the ECU. I have diagnostic interface (INPA, DIS), but I don't know how to recode the new injector to work.
Is anybody can give me some instructions how to do it with DIS?
    Thank you in advance!

I cant help with DIS as i have never used it, the new injector should come with a 6 digit code on it. In dis somewhere will be the programme for recoding and you can manually enter the new code. I use a Bosch machine and its very simple....

Thank you for the quick answer. I've found the code on the new injector but I don't know where to enter this code in DIS (if it is possible). I have other programming tools like NCS Expert but I heard that it is safer to do this with DIS.
    Anybody used DIS for this?

Slowtech - GT1 is DIS, just DIS includes databases and networks as a system, and the GT1 is the tablet and tester.

Again, It's not something I have done, but try to get hold of the injector code (I couldn't even tell you what it looks like) and then go into DDE and service funtions, and it should be in a menu there

Cheers Enda, my bad thought they were 2 different diagnostic operating systems and am yet to get GT1/DIS functioning on laptop.

DIS- Dealer Information System, GT1- Group Tester 1.

BMW have no moved on to bigger and better stuff but "DIS" has it's pros and cons.
It's hard to install, and by that, I mean you need to be doing the equivalent of DOS commands in LINUX, but it has a better user interface.

INPA is a lot quicker and easier to use, but misses out on a few functions.

What people most are missing is the BMW training on what to do with it, hit a few wrong buttons and you could cause a lot of damage!

Thanks again Enda for the explanation and clarification, I also want GT1/DIS for injector coding and remote key options but
soberly take your on board your point about "pressing a few wrong buttons" like a baby with the Armageddon switch !!!

From my experience GT1 is really simple to use, if anything it's so slow to get anywhere it's frustrating. It leads you through a diagnostic plan by asking questions etc.

Inpa and NCS expert are far more worrying. No prompts, it just does it! Rumour has it that it was a BMW R&D tool which would explain it's less polished interface.

Ok I've finally found it in DIS and I've recoded the ECU for the new injector.
    If someone need it:
-in DIS select diagnosis, and identify your car
-under function selection -> service functions -> drive -> DDE
    -select adjustment...
-create test plan and follow instructions
