    Hi,

    I want to buy a code reader to read and reset the codes for my e46. Which one should I get/how much should I spend? I found this Code Diagnostic Reader Scanner Code Diagnostic Reader Scanner for BMW E39 E46 E60 E63 on ebay, is it any good?

    I think people on here tend to use either Peaker tools or Carsoft. I wouldnt mind getting one my self so will be interested to see peoples comments as well.

    It would be a gamble because its a generic OBII scanner and your car is IIRC on the borderline OBII compliant...so it may read but probably won't.
    A Peake tool or Carsoft or INPA would be better options
