    yes its on widows xp and it is a cracked disc

    By "cracked" I presume you mean illegal - do you really expect any help?

    Shouldn't you buy a legal copy and then you can get support from the vendor?

    As mentioned we cannot really discuss software piracy here.

    You haven't really specified enough information regarding what interface you have, what OS you are using, if you are using a USB to Serial convertor etc.

    A lot of the information given on the forum would apply to you so have a look at what people have done with assigning com ports to USB adapters etc.
