    Hello,

I took my car to a garage to get the codes read; here is what they said:-

    p2721 - 02 sensor after cat aging
p272d - attitude fuel trim 2 limit reached
    p272c - trim 1

The problem is I've taken my car to a few different garages and none of them can pin point a fault, so they re-set the system and the engine management light goes away but comes back about 100 miles later.

This time however, the codes seem to be different, normally it says something about it being 'lean'.

Can anyone help? I really want the car sorted but nobody can seen to find a problem!!!

PS: MAF already been cleaned twice and no air leaks found.

Those are SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) reserved codes and don't even make sense to a BMW. Classic example from your list is P2721 which is 'Pressure Control Solenoid “D” Control Circuit High' in the SAE code table. This is why we specify members to use specific readers to obtain their fault codes. I would now approach a BMW Specialist Independent if I were you.

Did you ever get your code problems sorted. I have P272c showing with an engine management light on the dash, uneven tick over and occasionally revs to 1200 rpm when stationary. No one seems to have an answer.
