I have an airbag warning light, and an intermittent driver side headlight warning on my dash. There appear to be some other issues with mpg and dead-spots while driving, although I've only had the car a short while so I could be imagining things.
As I understand it, the headlight issue is likely to be the switch unit, since all lights are fine. Should be no problem getting that sorted.
The airbag I'm not sure about. There seem to be a number of common complaints in this area, and the error needs to be reset for MOT, so it looks like a diagnostic needs to be performed. Rather than pay for somebody to do it for me, I figure it might be worth spending a little more for my own diagnostic unit.
Does this sound feasible? And if so, what equipment do you recommend and where can I buy it?
