    Hi

    I done a scan on my 99 e46 323ci and got the following error and wondered if anyone could shed some light on it and let me know what it means

    yeh but wasnt sure if it meant replace the airflow meter or maybe one of the hoses had a split and was drawing in too much air.

    That's the first thing to do...check the hoses connected to the MAF for air leaks . Then look at the wiring and see if you can measure the resistance of the probe on the MAF.
