    hi
had a few wiring prblem whitch lead to part of my loom melting (mainly rear near side wheel sensor got fused together with interior light circut and sent 12v down the wheel sensor circuit blow sensor and abs/asc ecu)
all wiring has been fixed new sensor fitted second hand ecu on way
same part number same version number.
this ecu is not bolted to the abs pump. on the 728i it is the same as the e39
528i and 525i it is a seperate ecu bolted near the steering colum. (i spent about 3 hour trying to find it after taking abs pump apart and not finding it)
would like to find out if this ecu i have got coming will need to be reprogrammed for it to work? and if anybody knows of any one who is cappable of doing it at a better price than bmw (have read they charge £200 to reprogram ecus
thanks in advance for your help
