Hi everyone, been reading this forum for a while now very helpful; anyway quick question i have recently purchased a Peake diagnostic tool. I have just done an oil service before the car has signaled the requirement. I was wondering if i use the Peake to reset the oil service this will not have a negative effect on the planned inspection schedule?

    Thanks
    Chris

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the inspection will now come up later as you have reset the oil light but as long as you make a record of what mileage you did the oil you can worry about the inspection items when you see fit as you probably know your car pretty well.

What was the mileage when it had a inspection 1 or 2?

Ronnie, thanks for the reply; I have just over 90K on the clock; the last service was inspection 1 @ 84k (prior to me owning all done at BMW). There is still two green lights on the dash, only changed out of caution as I thought the oil looked ready. I have not yet reset the oil service was waiting for more info as I am still new to the BMW world and don't wanna mess it up!
