I have been using BMW INPA software.

When accessing the 'air con & heater' options There is an option to turn both (or either) "DME-AC Signal" & "DME-KO Signal" 'on' or 'off'.

I'm assuming AC is air con?

My question is what is KO?

Looking at the pins, there's about 3 different inputs to the ecu, one for the compressor running, one for climate control activated, and another for the aux fan.

What you'll be doing is simulating some of these inputs, and when you do so, you should see the idle raise by 100-150rpms.
