    About 4 and a half days, and most of them involved watching the sunrise!!
    I've still got plenty of testing to do yet for functionality.

    I bought this software from ebay OMG I have had it about 2 months now and still cant get it all installed!
    I got inpa working but its the last part I cant do, I think I need to speak to Bill Gates

    Inpa's much quicker to use if it's just the codes you need.

    How far did you get with GT1? Was it the install you had problems with or the connectivity part after?

    It was the install tbh I havent been on it for a couple of weeks,(had to move the chickens) it was the last bit you have to install,in the VM it just hangs when it gets to 3.99gb

    I dont know mate I follwed the super fast video's that came with it but just can;t get it to go,im gona give up on it i think and wait until someone near me gets thiers working.

    Ok thanks guys for all the feedback. I think i wont bother with the eBay software then as it all seems far too complicated to install and get it running properly and im not the most competent when it comes to computers.
    If any of you do come across something that is easy to use and cheap ish to buy then please get in touch and i can spread the word etc.

    The Carsoft mentioned earlier is far easier, that is just a regular Windows program.
    You ideally need a serial port, but it does work with USB > serial adaptors in some cases

    But this can be a proper PITA to get working as well.... I know.

    Ok so there doesnt appear to be an easy option to this. Next time i go the main dealer ill distract them and half inch theirs
