    i've moved this into electrical
    some pointers if i may...oem colour temp is in the 4.3-4.5 kelvin range as this gives the whitest,brightest light.
    6k is as blue as you really wanna go because the human eye doesnt pick up blue that well...any higher than this and you will struggle to see where you are going at night.
    i run a 6k kit and reckon it matches the std halogen luminousity,but with that funky blue tinge
    what i've felt,what i've known
    never shined through in what i've shown.

    Agreed, I think 6000k is the best colour temp to go for as it actually gives out the most lumens and has a nice tint of blue but a subtle one.
    I'll do a write up later today or over the next couple of days.
