Hi guys, i ahve a 2004 E53 X5 which had a Dynavin aftermarket unit fitted the other week, however due to issues with the unit i decided to remove it and put the old unit back in (with nav). At the time of the installation i revisitied my youuth and gave the installer a 12" Vibe active sub and amp wiring kit. The dynavin had x2 audio out rca connections that we used, however now the headunit is out and the old X5 one back in, the sub is still there and powered but the electrician said there was no rca out on the stock head unit. Does anyone know how i can get a audio out so i can reconnect thh active sub ! It still have power, just need to get a RCA connection from the headunit or amp to the sub box ?

Any help would be most appreciated

I've no experience of car subs, but does yours have high level inputs as well as the RCA's you can no longer use? If so, you can take a feed from the speaker outputs and run it from that.

I know from home audio circles that there are advantages and disadvantages of both methods, so it ought be possible
