    Hi.

I want to hard wire my road angel into my 2004 e46 330cd so I dont have to keep plugging it into my cigarette lighter which looks horrible.

Can anyone tell me where the best place/easiest place to do this is etc.

On other cars ive had the radio out or cigarrete lighter out and tapped into the power from there, but the bm looks a bit more complicated and i dont want to break anything trying to get these out.

    Thanks,
    Ian

    Hi Ian,

I would suggest taking the power feed from the radio for ease of doing it.

There is a guide on here somewhere to removing the E46 radio, I will try and dig it out.

you can then find the switched live feed (think theres a wiring diagram here as well!) and use that ... so the road angel will only come on when power becomes available to your stereo once you turn the car ignition on.

I will see what I can dig up fro you and post back
