Can anyone please tell me what the two wires (Brown & Yellow/Green - Brown & Blue/Red) behind the radio are feeding ? It seems an ideal place to tap off a 12v connection for my PC which I will locate in the glove box or in the passenger side footwell area.

You could try unplugging them to see what doesn't work ...

Those are big cables. Maybe it's the link to the ignition - but maybe it's the link to the Airbags so wouldn't fancy them exploding in my face. It looks such an obvious connector, I was sure someone in the Auto Electrical Forum would recognise it.

Fairly sure they are for the heater/aircon box blower. The best place to get 12v and earth around that area is from the radio loom.

I'm powering a Thin Client PC so I want a bigger cable than the radio cables. The PC will draw 4A at 12v. I would be planning on running the PC Touch Screen and a small speaker Amp off the Radio power lead.

Maybe I am being too careful ? If a connection is fused with a 10A fuse, then I assume the wiring is graded to support 10 A total too and so maybe I can run everything off the current Radio connections (the PC and touchscreen will replace the radio)
