    I found this sensor underneath my car at the front/right side, underneath the front bumper in front of the f/r wheel

    the piece of panel which it connects to was broken off so I have to remove the sensor, just wondering what it does

    not 100% sure but had same sensor hanging down on my e36 and was told it was temp sensor.

    for what? lol Its attached to the bottom of the car, facing the road :s

    That's not your ambient temp sensor. If it was, it would look like this...





    To me, what you have looks like a blanking cap.

    ~do you have heated washer jets? I'm sure someone told me that the temp sensor for those was round and on drivers side.
