    hi if i bought some headlights for my 5 series from germany can they be converted to use over here in the uk ie the pattern?they are hella type angle eyes. cheers

    If you are thinking of buying on line, ask the seller if there is a switch behind the lamp that will do this for you. I think Hella are pretty good at doing this.

    yeah there should be a switch inside the unit when you take off the top cap...it switches up and down for left hand too right...mine came from germany too and tho they wernt henna..which is a very reputable make...they had the switch.

    its more of a lever type thing inside the dip beam housing afaik
    what i've felt,what i've known
    never shined through in what i've shown.

    Slightly OT, but do the OEM angel eyes have this switch?
    does it go to a true dip or just to a flat beam?
    I ask as whichever E39 I get will be getting taken to germany and we have to have a dipped light, not a flat beam (which is what a lot of the switchable lights do)
