Hi, I am wanting to change the reverse bulbs to something really bright. What would you suggest.
    I have a bmw 520d 2006

I'm not good at auto electrics so would just need something I can plug into the existing, unless someone can post a step by step of a good reverse light upgrade

    Thanks
    Andy

I can't think of a quick and easy fix.
A simple solution would be a higher wattage bulb, but I don't know if the wiring is up to the job - I'd hate to recommend something that causes the car to catch fire...
Using a relay and heavier gauge would solve the problems, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't feel confident with wiring...

Hi, it's not that I don't feel confident, I just don't know what to do, If I had a video or guide to follow it would not be a problem.
I think I will have to go down that route an all forums I am on say the same. Thanks for the help

    Gotcha.
    This might help then :
    simple headlight relay wiring
He's using relays to drive more powerful headlights - its the same basic idea...
