    Hi all,

not sure if this is posted in the correct forum, but have quite a big problem and would appreciate some input from anyone. Long story short, have recently bought a 55 reg M6 e64, and the previous owner has installed an aftermarket amplifier in the boot. This has caused the dsc warning light to frequently come on and has also made a lot of the options such as configuring the M drive options not appear on the idrive system. I have had diagnostics at a bmw specialist in Wolverhampton and Oldbury, but nobody seems to be able to help or do not want to help as they said it is a big job to see where the wiring has gone wrong or if something has not been reconnected properly. Please, could someone point me in the right direction in the way or auto electrician specialist of BMW specialist who would be able to solve the problem?

    Many many thanks!
