Have question about mileage on my BMW.

I have E46 320d 2004 year of production, and when i bought it, the mileage on the clock was 226tkm, a friend of mine check the mileage in the procesor with computer and there was recorded mileage something about 192 tkm. After few month went to the BMW dealership whit the car key, and guys from BMW read mileage from the car key and it still was 192 tkm.

For sure i know that the car clock or whatever you call it, was changed its not original.

what is heapening whit the mileage? which one is correct? did anyone change mileage on my car? how can i find out the real mileage?

The mileage is recorded in three places in the e46.The instrument cluster, the key,and the light control module. You need to find out if the light module or the cluster was replaced at any time.Do you have a TAMPER DOT displayed?

Yes i have that DOT on clock display. But as i understand that DOT apears after you change car clock (instrument cluster), and i know that in my car someone changed it.

That dot can also appear if the light module is replaced and not coded to the car.
Have you got inpa,it can show you which part is not coded to your car.
Also how do you know?Did previous owner tell you?

Electrician guy told me that instrument cluster is from 1999 and car is 2004, someone changed instrument cluster and with help of some program he read that info when he was doing diagnostic.
