A laser parking device which will also open the automatic gate if the bloke ever turns up to finish the gate off.

Ahhh I think i've heard of this trick before.

Isn't it a device that is also used on garages too. I've heard that it intereferes with police speed radar.

If you get caught with one and you don't have the automatic gate/garage door then you get hammered by the old bill???

As soon as you drive around in a car you give the police the right to hammer you, although I must admit the latest insanities heaped on motorists can generally be laid at the feet of the anti car MP's who get the police to do there dirty work.

I think I need to rephrase my question and maybe start a new thread without the contentious issue of the LPP.

I should imagine a car audio shop would have a good idea and be able to suggest a good place for it, the wiring should be of no problem to them especially

I would normally fit stuff myself as it only needs connecting to the battery but I noticed the battery is in the boot on the 135. Going to an auto electrician maybe the way to do it.

You could take a feed of a suitable circuit up front around the dash area, you could use a scotch lock or similar, maybe from the cig lighter for example
