These are what are in the car at the moment and they don't "throw" far at all. Any idea what they are? (Ignore the 4300k label as the bulbs have been changed since the HID install)

    Is it really, Joe?

I have a feeling they were bought from Ebay so I was hoping someone might recognise which one(s) they are as it doesn't say on the end of it. Basically if these are 4300k ones already then there's no point me buying another set of 4300k ones for extra brightness and "throw" as it's unlikely to make any difference.

I wasn't sure if you realised you already had xenons or not

Not really any way of knowing where they're from I don't think, I suppose the best you can do is get yourself a decent set of replacement bulbs from www.hids-direct.co.uk and see how you get on. I've heard a few complaints on here though recently about E46 xenons not projecting that far.

if you want extra throw then get 55w Xenon bulb's...can't tell what K they are by just a pic of a bulb...You need to post a pic of when they are on but even then its hard to tell cause the camera pic won't give a real colour of what the bulb is producing

Because of the fog and seeing the beams I've just realised that adaptive lighting means they move with the steering. DOH!!
