    I wouldn't mind betting that these wires were the supply for your headunit, you'll need to remove your headunit and examine the plugs to see if any wires have been cut

    i have absolutely no idea lol! there looks to be a junction box of somesort down the back from the cd player! but it to dark to do it now. hopefully i can get it working on the ignition again! if i put a tester on the red and grey tomorrow with ignition/engine on and it is giving out power then its gotta be what you said! i will let you know tomorrow evening up behind the stereo, all the original plugs to atatch to the head unit are there and not been hacked which is good

    If you disconnect the stereo plugs and pull that wiring loom back through the opening where you took the photo then you will be able to inspect the wiring loom completely. Sometimes the plugs get stuck but they are easy enough to move about and pull through and easy enough to push back up too.

    When you say junction box, is it a white/clear block where the wires go in and little screws are used to secure the wires inside the block? Can you take a picture of this tomorrow

    yep its a white j/box with the tiny screws! by the look of the wires going into it i think its something to do with the speaker wires? but i will try an get it all out tomorrow an take some pics cheers for ya help

    Not 100% sure but these could be for the following:

    Grey/Red.....illumination

    Violet/White......12v

    white.....antenna amplifier

    Someones being playing silly buggers with the wiring, especially if you said those wires were left bare

    silly buggers is putting it very mildly lol!! didnt get chance to do anything to it today :( but will keep u informed on it and post any other pics
