    Hi Guys !

i,m having a nightmare problem with my indicators on my 1999 e46 coupe , when i indicate all my right hand side indicators flash fast and sometimes for a brief period they go back to normal speed for a few seconds ?

when i put the hazard lights on all the indicators flash at normal speed and work perfect which baffles me even more !!

i have took out all the bulbholders and bulbs one by one and inspected and cleaned any corrosion starting from the rear and working forward to the wing and then to the front holders , ive replaced all the bulbs and still its eratically flashing my next step is to try earthing each indicator bulb seperately in the hope that will fix the problem !

is there a flasher relay that is hidden anywhere that i can change or are my indicators controlled by the lcm headlight unit switch ?

also when the right indicator is flashing i can hear the ticking of a relay from the column or dashboard area so i,m guessing it must be changeable .

    thanks in advance

Relays for your indicators are built into the ZKE/GM5 module.

I had this problem. I had to get an auto electrician to earth out both rear lights.
