Hi to everyone, i'm new to the Forum. Owned the car for the last 6 years, its got aftermarket xenons/hid's. Recently the headlights have started to switch off, low beam. you could be driving for 5 minutes or half an hour, and suddenly the headlights will switch off, if you switch them off then on from the headlight switch they'll come on again, they may be o.k for 30 seconds or they may not switch off again for the rest of the journey. In the 6 years of ownership they've just started doing this during the last few months, the sidelights will remain on no problems. I think they've started doing this a few months after i changed the bulbs (DS2's) if i remember correctly, they were fine when the bulbs were replaced for a few months, now they've started playing up. What would be the cause and what would the remedy be ?? Its an E46 330 ci convertible 2002. Thanks for any input.
