Its a 2004 M3, and its lovely! but gremlins....xenons, led rears, rear fog

first things first...this is perhaps the root of all the problems.

The rear Fog light is permanently on... as soon as you turn the lights on, side or main the rear fog light comes on. you can hit the switch on/off/on/off the light comes on the dash telling you that it is on or off, but the actual bulb remains on. What can it be? where do i look under the dash at the switch, the loom, the bulb holder? an lcm reflash? So i would like to fix this and see if the other problems go aways...but the other problems are...

rear lights are led, the dash board is telling me they dont work, but they do, its a 2004 they should be OEM(ive read about people upgrading to them and having this issue, but these should be OEM

xenons, sometimes they dont work, sometimes they strobe!!! both together at the same time, i nearly had a fit!! It will usually resolve itself if you turn engine off then on.(ive also read this can have something to do with a bad connection in the rear light clusters, hopefully it will be that fog light.)

    thanks

    john.

bulb or no bulb still has the problems with the telltale lights, im not sure if the xenon problem would go away with the bulb in as its been running with no bulb in... i cant be driving around with my fog permanently on.
