    Ok, you need to check the connector at the AUC sensor. The sensor is clipped onto your fan shroud and will look like this...

    Strangely, if I leave it in Auto Recirculate mode I can still hear the recirculation flaps opening and closing periodically. Why would that still occur if the sensor was broke???

    Drove over a pothole on Saturday morning and my blowers jumped into life!!! Go figure! They've not stopped yet, so going to carry on regardless and try to persuede the mechanic he needs to check the connections to the FSR he fitted.

    Just need to avoid further potholes!

    I've heard the fan plug can get a bad connection also
