    i had a bmw convertable before and missed it so just bought another 1 with a few problems which i knew about but was willing to take them on here is my list ----

    1- demisters/heater not working
    2- when i put on heated rear windscreen it interfers with radio
    3= the light on the passenger sun visor stays on unless i unclip it or switch ignition off
    4= air bag light on
    5-oil light stays on for a few mins when i start the car or till i start driving

    but still love it just workin through all the problems starting with electrical issues any advice is appreciated also nearly forgot temp gauge goes up half way really fast but fine for water,

    2. The heated rear screen is the radio aerial so I'd look for dodgy connections a dry joints in the amp unit.
    5. Have you checked the oil level ?

    1. the heaters not working is normally the resistor or the FSR as some people call it or the fan its self the easy was to test is get to the fan and put a meter on it and see if there is power if there is then it is the fan if there is not then 9/10 it is the FSR that has gone.

    3. there is a small micro switch in the visor so when the ign is on and the door that covers the glass is open the light is on but close the door and it will go off if it dont then you could try and take it apart to see if it is fixable other wise new visor mate

    for the other problems mate i would suggest that you get the codes read and report back
