    Got one of these fabulous e90 2007 3 series 2.0d saloon great fantastic car................. yer right prefer my old e46 diesel cheaper to tax and to run. the central lockings playing up so want to change the relays myself. anybody done one yet looked over the net can't find anything its just I want to order the bits before I strip it down they are in the junction box it doesnt have the standard gmv as the e46 had.

    What is playing up on it, just not working, intermittent or the remote not working?

    the remotes working press it indicators flash on arm/disarm only drivers door locks will not open have to use key. button on dash will only lock drivers door or drivers door will lock when I pull away. same fault as the e46's had changed a few of them relays over in the past.

    fuse 56 was blown originally swapped for the 20amp get the clicking no action, its defo the junction box relays confirmed it with inpa and autologic

    door locks are very common, and they do throw up relay faults...

    Check fuse 57 or 73 (depends on date of build). BMW are suggesting increasing the 15A fuse to a 20A.
    Fuse box is behind the glove box, through an access panel in the glovebox.

    It must be the time of year as I have had three other people call me with the same fault!
