hi guys im looking for a switched live that will come on at the same times as the radio and go off when the radio gose off too? why i need this is because im running subs and an amp in my E60 and at the moment im running the power up or remote cable to the cigarette lighter which is fine when the ignition lights are on or if the car is running but when i come to stop and turn the key back the radio stays on but the amp cuts out as the cigarette lighter only works with the ignition on?

my question is can anyone show or tell me the wire i should use to get a switched live that works in tandem with the radio I.E when the radio is on so is the amp when its off so is the amp?

if its not too much bother could pictures or detailed instructions be posted please as i will use them for a post i put up about how i fitted my system to my car and ill mention the members name in the post too

    thanks

    there ya go mate,
    removing the radio:
BMW TIS - 65 12 200 Removing and installing (replacing) audio system controller

    schema:
    SP0000023486 - WDS

you need to connect to red/brown cable
to be honest, I would connect straight to the fusebox - F75, that would save you to remove head unit!
    good luck
