    hi every one

still new to all this forum stuff lol,,

wonder if some one can help i got a indivdual 2000 330ci coupe.

basicly i had removed the mirror and base to colour code the horrible black plastick on the mirror base.

on reinstalling the mirrors the passenger side has decided to totally stop working! won't fold up, won't move mirror glass meckanism, and won't tilt down when selected in reverse. :/

drivers side works perfectly fine as it should, and before i removed the mirrors so did the passenger side.
i haven't knocked or dropped the mirror or any thing like that and has only been off the car for acouple of days in my shead.

really stuck on what to try next have tryed the obvious, fuse, wire damge to and from control moudle behind door card, move by hand (to see if it was seized)

any help would be much appricated
    cheers

Hi, the door mirrors are a lot more complicated than you’d think (as per all things BMW) especially if you have memory seats.
Sounds like a power or earthing (grounding) problem. The diagram for a mirror with memory is at:

Looks like time to whip out the old multi-meter.
    Good luck.
