I have just found out that the fuel flap lock does not work on my touring.
When you operate the central locking there is no sound from the lock solenoid and the plastic pin that locks the flap is not visible at all. The emergency release pull for the lock is very tight and doesn't seem to move anything. As it is a touring the solenoid is hidden behind the rear washer bottle. So I expect I am going to have to remove the bottle to investigate further. Anyone had similar problem? The rest of the central locking all works fine.

I took the washer bottle out and found the solenoid for the fuel flap lock. Used the key to see if it worked and it didn't. So I took the solenoid out, tested it again and it worked!! Put it back and it worked for a few tries then stopped again. Took it out. Tested the output from the connector, 12v pulse from one side when locking and 12v pulse from the other when unlocking (just as I would expect). Put it all back again and it is still working now. So I either had a dodgy connection or the solenoid is on it's way out. Will have to wait and see how long it lasts. Well at least it's an easy job to remove & refit (less than ten minutes with all the practice I have had. Lol)
