Hi all I am new and think I posted in wron place last time sorry! Anyhow I have taken out my sat nav DVD tv unit in my 330d touring, and as some of you are aware it has two plugs one white one blue, one is monitor and one is nav, according to BMW. Here's the problem I have bought a replacement touchscreen version and it comes with 2 wiring harnesses to plug into new or old BMWs that's fine it will plug straight into the wife's 320d as the loom is the normal type! But not mine as its a rare type I don't need the sat nav cd ect as its all built in the new one, (1) do I have to change the loom? (2) can I hard wire myself (auto electrician) (3) is the loom attached to the main loom? (4) is there a connector to join them up. And finally does anyone have a wiring diagram for this type as I've been everyware and no one can help!

    Many thanks in advance

    Jay

There's an alternative. There's always a third way, and it's not a combination of the other two ways. It's a different way

I see you've made you're decision now lets see you enforce it.
