Hey guys, so recently in the warm weather we all know cars get boiling inside, and I've noticed my car is doing a very strange thing, when it gets hot inside the car the speedometer just refuses to work, it will jerkily follow me up to 10 MPH and then stop, almost as if it's getting stuck. I have absolutely no warning lights or anything and all the other gauges work normally, the weird part is that if I sit for about 5 minutes with the air con on it starts coming back, says i'm doing 20 at 30 and is still a bit weird but gradually comes back when the temperature drops in the car. Has anyone else ever experienced this or knows what is going on? I've tried searching but can't find anything, thanks in advance. Also if it has to be a replacement will M3 gauges have the same pins on the back and work with my car? Cheers, Alex.
