hi all, going to have a go at fitting my halo rings tomorrow. Think im going to go down the route of wiring them to my side lights.

when they arrived today i went for a look to check if the wiring was just plug and play and relised this wasnt the case.

so i went to halfords and puchased some cable lock connectors.

just wondering if any of you guys had pics of your own wiring if you've done the mod or can advise and tell me if im correct in thinking, its just a matter of matching up the wires and popping the cable lock connectors in place and the wiring is as simple as that?

im quite confident in mech side of the mod ie... dropping bumper off and splitting head light, but the electrics are my only worry.

any pics or help would be great

Ive installed mine now mate and they look awesome. defo advise you to do it.

bit fiddly when it comes to splitting the light unit but just take your time and be v carefull not to break clips on lights. heard this can be done easily.

i used hair dryer to make seal come away easy in the end.

And as for the wiring what we were both worrying about its very simple. just got some cable lock connectors that saved me having to snip off the side light bulb holder.
just a simple connection and then i used amalimating tape to make sure connections are water tight.

so glad i have done it as they look awesome. wish i knew how to upload pics on forum so i could show you but unfortunately i dont no how to.

hope you get yours in soon, defo advise you to go for it
