I am looking for some assistance with my compact, as it doesn't start on cold mornings.
The history of the issue is this:
October 2009: New Fuel pump fitted
November 2009: Starting issues began, replaced fuel pump relay and engine control relay.
January 2010: New Battery Fitted
However the issue still remains, the fuel pump does not kick in when the ignition is turned, however as said, this is only on cold mornings ie frost, on mornings following rain etc, it fires no problem at all.
I have had the voltages tested and on cold mornings, the voltage to the fuel pump relay is only getting to around 8 to 10 volts instead of 12, any idea what may cause such a drop in voltage?
Does anyone have any experience of such and issue, or is there anything I need to check out?
Thanks in advance.
