I have noticed that a few e46s have the sat nav in the sterio. Minne is an older car so only has the business unit, can the satnav unit be fitted? and what is needed? also what prices would the parts be? thanks mark.

You'll need £1000 - £1500 for parts, plus a day to fit it.

To retrofit Nav you will need :

    Monitor, 4:3 or 16:9.
    Radio module ,BM24 or BM54.
Nav Computer, Mk III or Mk IV.
    GPS antenna.
    Retrofit wiring loom.
Radio aerial wireing kit (your old radio in in the dash, the Nav is one in the boot)
    Climate control relocation bracket.
Maybe Nav computer bracket, you might have one already if you have a CD Changer.
Maybe radio addapter, the retrofit loom is for round pin radios, the BM54 is flat pin.
