i just got topics error code on my instrument cluster and noticed that the oil can doesnt show up when turning the key. Can i drive this car or is there bigger problem than the pressure switch? Wierd that the light wont come on... could it be the led on my instrument cluster which makes that error code? Checked errors with DIS and that was the only error code with O2 sensor code on the whole car... When doing the cluster test from secret obd menu, light wont come up, neither does check engine (dont know if EU cars are using this or not). Thanks in advance

If the oil light doesn't come on with the dash test then it does sound like you have a issue!

What is the error code you have?

DIS Says Oilpressure Switch Operation Range Exceeded. Where do you think i have the issue, instrument cluster or DME? Can that oil pressure switch break so that it wont even try to light the warning lamp?

If you only have one wire then try earthing it out to the block and see if the light comes on. If it does then fit the new sensor.

just wired the connector to ground and the light comes up, so instrument cluster aint broken. Hopefully its the sensor which is dead. Will change that on monday when i get my car up, change oil and oilpan gasket.
