Hey, I am new to all this and was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem or if anyone has any solutions to this problem. I am able to lock the doors manually. But the actual key remote locking feature isn't working. I have taken it to the BMW garage, they tried to re-programme the key but they said that there is nothing wrong with the actual key device, as it's sending out a signal but the car is not responding to it. They want me to put it on a diagnostics machine, which costs £90, but is ther any other solution that i can try? or any useful tips that you guys may have?

    Thanks.

take it to a BMW indy specialists instead who have a Autologic machine, will be cheaper and they can test much the same items. May well be the module itself.
