    Hi, all

can any one please help me make head or tails of these fault codes?

I have a bmw 740i using dis v57 i get these two code that are stored in the dme 1) 0A dme fault stored.
    2) 8B dme fault stored.

Can anyone shed any light on what they mean everything is running fine except the occasional change in engine that feel like a miss fire Im hoping these codes are related and as i am use to using inap that tells u the fault in english Dis give's hex code's.

    Any help is gladly accepted
    kevin

That's only the first page (overview).

What you need to do next is something like click on the DME bar and chose service functions, and then expert mode which should get you into a proper fault code page with descriptions etc.

    thank you fella
so its not a prob just the div using the the dis prog! lol.. any more help on the way to go about this would be cool.
just to be clear i am using the diag point uder the bonnet as this is pre 98 and has no iso plug inside the car, i know this limits some diagnostics but how much i am unsure.

    yep, that's correct.
What you've gone into is the overview, so from there try the green > in the bottom corner and it will have a test plan.
I think then pick the ecu and the green arrow again, and it should start going into it properly, reading out all the details and then the descriptions.

If you see "expert mode", pick that, and that will have another option to read fault codes with descriptions.
