    hi everybody,
    i thought that will be be much easeir to change engine, but it was't. 2.0i with vanos (e36) chenged to 2.0i with non vanos (e36). Loom, ecu was changed too. it's not starting. wiring is incorect I think (fuel pump doesn't work).
    can anybody tell me where and what I did wrong.

    Do you have spark at the plugs?

    If the conversion was the other way round I would say it's a EWS fault immediately
