Ever since I have had the m3 I have struggled with signal on the stereo, I am off this week so it is on my list of things to do, with lots of other bits and pieces

I have taken the rear seat and parcel shelf out and have found a wire that connects to nothing under the drivers side 'C' panel which I know that is where the aerial runs into the rear window, I think!!

I have taken a pic below, can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers
    Gareth

That's for the heated rear window. Poor signal is more than often a break in the inner wire of the coaxial (aerial) cable at the plug that connects to your head unit. Do a continuity check first.

Looks like the earth, they usually have one on each side so as long as the HRW works don't worry.

You seem to be missing the complete diversity aerial unit
