    hi all,
had a problem for a while now with the interior light coming on while driving even thou all doors are shut sometimes it will flicker on and off others permanently on unless i use the switch.
I've managed to Sus out that it is to do with the near side door but i can't see where the "thingamajig" is that tell the light that the door is shut or open any idea's?
because i'm guessing that this is the issue

    Den.

The switch is on the striker plate/catch, a little plastic switch sticks out of it,

Common problem when they get worn. Try adjusting the striker plate/catch.

You can also leave the ignition on and close the doors, then try pulling and pushing on the doors to see which door makes the interior light come on.

Some people wrap black insulation tape round the striker latch to help pack it out, as the plastic gets worn that goes round the bar.
