No car is listed as the headlights are from any e36 BMW, i have an urgent issue i need to address else i wont be driving after sunset!!!

i took the boy racerish angel eye headlights off my motor as i did not like them, and i got hold off some bosch oem headlight units off another e36.

The wiring from the aftermarket lights was done by a 5 year old i think and deffo not safe!

on the oem units there is a screw type connection which has 4 male connectors-i assume the vehicles wiring harness is meant to have the opposite end of this plkug on there, so that you screw it in and i therefore assume this provides the power?

The headlight units also have another connection for a female plug which attatches to a male plug with 3 connectors-this is fine as my wiring harness has these plugs-so i have plugged them in.

My issue is that my wiring harness also has 2 male plugs and not female!

Can anyone help, i need to know if i can get hold of 2 female plugs do i just swap them around?

Help please as atm i have no headlightsQ!!!

    Thanks in advance

That and the fact that bmw didn't only use bosch for the E36 headlights....
