    I only have 1 question really as my car comes with check control and the black and white plugs already there is mine just a simple case or plug and play or plug and rewire

    You still need to add the extra wires for the other features (Temp, Range, MPG, etc) Yours has both plugs but only has wiring for the clock and check control.

    oh joy at least ive found a cheao 18 button odc i might have a play once the weather warms up

    Follow one of the Analogue clock to 18 button guides, it'll cover all the wiring you need to add. You have the advantage of having both plugs already!

    so having all the plugs there all ill need to do is splice some wires and save most of my headache and i also have to source some brake cooling ducts and the temp sensor the rest should be fine

    The brake ducts you have already will be sufficent for the temp sensor

    And can you get a photo of the white plug, mainly the pins to the wires already there ?
    It seems odd that your 8-button already has both plugs. Has it possibly been retro fitted in the past, and they put the 8 button back in before they sold it to you ?

    The 8 button OBC has both plugs, 7 button only has one.

    I've just looked at the 8 button that came out of my Coupe, and it has only the 1 black connector - I had to retro fit the white connector when converting to 18-button.

    It's an 8-button, with Check Control.

    Yes, apologies. I was thinking of the 11 button - what a fool!
