    hi every1 i have just brought a 1998 s reg 328i as a non runner
    i had been told it started as a intimitant fault then wouldnt go again so has been a non runner for 2 months now,
    on inspection iv found ignition wires have bn cut and re joined , plastic around arial pickup has bn cut back (guessing to teast coil) small black box under stering had bent pins (have straightened and refitted), and wnen i checked earths in pass foot wel i noticed a cut wire on the purple plug on the black box with 3 medium sized plugsbut i cant find a cut wire in the loom to rejoin?, it has the ews2 white type transponder set up, could some one please pm me with how to bypas this as i have pmed neilp regarding this info as advised on here but guessin he is away at the min

    hi billy yes thank you have read that and another link on here where neilp talks about bypassing it says join two wires then contact him ? wish the system hadnt been messed arround with by previous owner as i would have just ordered a new key from bmw :(
