hi recently bought a e36 328 coupe sport and have just noticed last night the clocks dont light up with the headlights on. ive checked the fuses under the bonnet and all seem to be in good order, thats pretty much as far as i go with electronics .
    anything else i can check?
interior lights all work its just the dash lights and the radio ilumination.
not sure if the clocks have been changed as the have the m logo on and go to 170mph and has the oil tempreture gauge in the middle, dont know if this is normal as i owned a e46 coupe before this one.
    any advice would be great

most common fault for this is the dash light dimmer control faliure sounds like someone has swapped the cluster for the m3 version but the dash lights should still work check the dimmer switch is not dimmed all the way down if not find a replacement switch this usually fixes this problem
