I started my car recently with my mobile charger plugged into the fag lighter and it apparently caused the bulbs that light my heater controls across the bottom of the centre console and, strangely, the bulb that lights the wee symbol for the headlight controller to the right of the instrument panel and the steering wheel to blow.

I checked the fuse box and there didn't appear to be any fuses blown.

Is this going to be a major pain involving removal of the dashboard, or is there another way in? I'm not tooooo bothered about the little headlight bulb icon, as it's tiny, but having the lower half of the console in darkness is damn annoying.
