    hi

as above i seem to have a fault with my light & the door...

basically if i go over rough roads or brake sharply the light will come on as if the door was open. Also sometime when i close the door properly the window does not shunt up as it should do.

    are these to problems related?

i first thought the problem was with the door micro switch (to activate the lights) but pulling or pushing the door whislt closed doesn't seem to cause the problem.

    anu ideas??!
    Cheers,
    Dave

This behaviour is exactly like a worn out door switch. It is still electrical functional but the spring is worn out.

Yes the window inching and courtesy lighting are both linked to the door switch. It's quite a common fault to wear out and start activating erroneously over bumps.
