My brake lights have stopped working completely. I have checked the fuses & bulbs and these are OK.
The LCD brake light has also stopped working which makes me think that it is the brake light switch.
This leads me to the question, where is the switch located? I have been told that it its located above the brake pedal but this is not the case. I have also been advised on a USA website that on a RHD version the switch is located on the passenger side but I can not find it.
    Please help!

Disconnect the plug and bridge the wires, if the brake lights come on then it's the switch

Thanks for the info but unfortunately I still can't find the switch.
The instructions that you gave me must be for the left hand drive version mine is RHD.
There is a rod that travels from my brake pedal to the passenger side (left) and then thru to the engine compartment. I presume that the switch is located somewhere on this rod.
Do you or anyone have any further ideas?

    Thanks again:
