    Hi

New here so hopefully this is the correct place for this question, if not, my apologies.

I've just bought some DRLs for my 316.
I'm wanting to wire them in so they come on when the ignition starts and stay on until the ignition is off again.
I've tested them by putting the wires straight to the battery but obviously they'll stay on forever!

I'm unsure how to proceed and where to wire. I've checked the internet without much success and was hoping some helpful people may be able to advise a very inexperienced but willing to learn car owner

Thanks in advance, hopefully I've provided enough info.

    Thanks for those.

The problem is, I'm a real novice at this sort of thing and just have no idea which wires to connect the black and red to.

All I know is that red is the + and black is the - wire.

I've no idea how to connect so they come on when the ignition starts and turn off again when the ignition stops.

I'll continue to look but further advice (& pics) would be great
